Dark lifting hall with deadlift platforms, loaded bars and wood walls under spot lighting
Strength & Conditioning ยท Blaine, MN

Stronger in three hours a week.

Coached small-group strength training for busy adults across the north metro. Every session run by a coach who knows your name, your knees, and your goals.

Most of our members joined after two or three gym memberships they never used. Some compete on the platform. Both belong here.

Who Trains Here

Three kinds of people walk in that door.

The Restarter

Haven't trained in years

You are not behind. You are not too out of shape to start. Your first sessions are private, at your level, with a coach who has seen every starting point there is.

Your first move: a free intro. Twenty minutes, sitting down, talking.

The Lifter

You already train hard

Six racks, two competition deadlift platforms, calibrated plates, chalk at every station. Open gym is a first-class membership here, not a tolerated one.

Your first move: a $20 drop-in. Run your own program, see the floor.

The Scheduling Parent

Your calendar is the boss

Sessions at 5:30am, noon, and after work. Your kid trains Youth Performance at 4:30 while you lift. Same building, same hour, one drive.

Your first move: check the schedule, then book an intro.

Programs

Three ways to train. Plain English.

Small group lifting barbells together in a coached session

Small-Group Strength

Up to eight people, one coach, your own bar. The workout is written for the group and scaled to you. This is where most members live.

Personal Coaching

One-on-one or two-on-one. For rehab returns, platform prep, or people who want the fastest path and full privacy while they build confidence.

Open Gym

Running 5/3/1 or block periodization? The floor is yours: racks, platforms, specialty bars, chalk. Self-programmed lifters are members here, not guests.

Getting Started

Your first visit, exactly as it happens.

A conversation

Twenty minutes with a coach, sitting down. Your history, your goals, the knee that clicks. You will not be dropped into a group class.

A quiet first session

Simple movements, empty bar or no bar, just you and the coach on the floor. Nothing in your first visit is a test, and nobody is watching.

A plan, then you decide

You leave with a written plan and a recommendation. Join or don't. There is no pitch and nobody follows up more than once.

Most people who book an intro have not exercised in five years or more. That is normal here, and no coach will act surprised.

The Floor

Built for barbells,
not selfies.

  • 6 power racks, never doubling as coat hooks
  • 2 competition-spec deadlift platforms
  • Calibrated plates, bars maintained monthly
  • Specialty bars: SSB, trap, axle
  • Sleds, prowlers and 40m of turf
  • Chalk provided, at every station

House Rules

Chalk is provided. Deadlifts belong on the floor. Grunting is fine, dropping an empty bar is not. Rerack your plates. Ask before you coach a stranger.

Members

People like you, a few months ahead.

"I hadn't lifted since college and honestly expected to be the project everyone pitied. Turns out half the 6:30 group started exactly where I did. Eight months in, I carried my kayak off the roof rack by myself."

"I came for the platforms and stayed for the culture. Chalk is out, the bars are straight, and nobody has ever asked me to stop deadlifting. My meet total went up forty pounds in a training cycle."

"The 4:30 slot is the whole reason we joined. My daughter does Youth Performance while I lift, and we're home before dinner. Two memberships, one drive, zero negotiating with my calendar."

Honest Answers

The questions people are afraid to ask.

No, and you would not be close to the least conditioned person who has walked in. Your first sessions are one-on-one with a coach, scaled to exactly where you are. The barbell can wait weeks if it needs to.
The 6:30 group has a nurse who started six months ago, a retired teacher, two powerlifters, and a guy who joined because his doctor told him to. Nobody is filming themselves and nobody cares what you lift. That is the point of a coached room.
Because those gyms sold you access and left you alone, and this one sells you coaching. Every session is run by a coach who notices when you stop showing up and texts you. Quitting quietly is much harder here, which is the feature.
No. Your coach says "eight slow squats to the box" instead of jargon. If a term ever matters, it gets explained the first time, once, without the eye roll.

No Pressure

The hardest set is walking in. We made that one easy.

A free intro is twenty minutes, sitting down, with coffee if you want it. You will not touch a barbell unless you ask to.
